New York ICFF Review

Furniture:

“The first to capitolize on this momentum was Portland, Oregon-based designer Charley Wheelock, founder of Kapow Design.  His collection is called Peep and comprises a line of modern children’s furniture sporting soft curves and smooth edges. It is also made with environmentally stable materials that are child friendly.  No harsh adhesives or finishes are used when creating the furniture collection.  Wheelock’s intention with Peep is to create well-designed, modern furniture for hip toddlers and their cool parents..  These pieces are meant to survive more than one childhood.  The overall philosophy of Peep is that it is never too early to expose children to great design.  The positive reaction was more apparent as buyers scurried to purchase the collection right off the show floor.  Wheelock was so thrilled with the response generated at the show that he promised to keep me informed as to where you can purchase at retail.  He also gives a trade-only discount of 20%”
