Premiere Lit

is a bed designed and built with and for artists Matthew Barney and Bjork. The headboard and the footboard are of equal dimensions at 50" tall and 3" thick. To see this bed and to be in it are two very different experiences. The cool huey white polyethylene planes which face the exterior of the footboard and headboard draw you over and then the warm interior walls of bookmatched walnut gulp you down.
