Kapow Design is led by Charley Wheelock, a classically trained cabinetmaker and conservator with an M.A. in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute.

Born and raised in NYC in the crazy pre-Giuliani Apple he is very fortunate to have enjoyed both the gleam and the grime offered by that dynamic culture.

Early entrepenurial spirit and creativity spawned his first products: Handmade mistle toe headbands and beltbuckles sold infront of Crazy Eddie's on 6th Ave (1978)

His is equally inspired by irritations and pleasures.

He is never bored.

He has two little kids and a beautiful wife.
